Agenda Released for Upcoming Cyber-Physical Systems Meeting

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber-Physical Systems Public Working Group (CPS PWG) is holding a two-day workshop on April 7-8, 2015. The meeting will be held at the NIST campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and is intended to review the Draft CPS Framework released by the CPS PWG earlier this month. The meeting will provide an opportunity for a review of the framework by the full CPS PWG and to provide a forum for discussions related to a CPS roadmap for moving forward.

According to a draft agenda, the meeting will begin with a review of the draft framework, including reports from the CPS PWG subgroups. Later on the first day, the meeting will use breakout sessions and selected use cases to explore the framework’s details in application contexts. The second day of the meeting will focus on implementing the draft framework and creating a CPS roadmap. The morning session will concentrate on ways to improve the framework and other internal actions required to move forward. In the afternoon, the focus of the meeting will shift outward and examine issues related to creating a pathway for the framework’s implementation.
